Training at MAL – Advanced Machining Course
At UBC’s Manufacturing Automation Laboratory we have developed the most advanced and accurate machining process simulation, planning and troubleshooting system: CUTPRO®. The purpose of this course is to train industry professionals in machining sciences, and apply the science learned on CNC machines in a practical, work-friendly manner. Using software developed in-house at MAL, Engineers are able to put their newly learned skills to practice on real applications in our lab/shop.
Companies on the competitive edge around the world are benefiting greatly from its use. MAL has trained over 200 engineers who have attended this course. Upon returning to work, they are able to create an impact on manufacturing process safety and efficiency.
Knowledge regarding the fundamentals of manufacturing sciences are universal, and can be applied with or without the aide of our software. We would like to extend this advantage to every company that wants to learn how to capitalize on this remarkable software in our 5 days hands-on-training course.
