There are two main applications of analysis using supplied hardware:

‘Impact Testing’ is used to measure natural frequencies of objects; in the case of machining, this applies to the machine & tool as well as the workpiece setup.

‘Data Collection’ on the other hand, is when information is recorded during machining, which is then used for further analysis.
