MAL Inc. offers different on-site training options: 5 Day Advanced Machining Course, which is the same course offered at UBC. It covers the fundemetals of machining theory, sources of machine tool vibration and extensive hands-on training.
For CutPro customers, MAL Inc. offers 3-day CutPro training. It is an essential course and highly recommended in order to maximize the output of CutPro. I also includes extensive hands-on training.
For Shop-Pro customers, 1-2 days flexible training options are available. Our experts can train engineers and machine tool operators and can advise and discuss to tackle problems of specific applications.

Material characterization
CutPro allows the user to add their own material data very easily. However, extensive cutting tests and additional laboratory equipment is needed to characterize the material. In MAL Inc, we have the facilities and expertise to do this for the customers in our laboratories. This service has been provided quite often for industry. Please contact us if you want to use a material that is uncommon or not in CutPro material database.
