MILLING
Milling Module is highly accurate and most comprehensive simulation software for optimal planning and troubleshooting of milling processes. It allows the user to simulate the performance of a milling operation through the predictions of the forces in three directions, vibration, the required torque and power, form errors and stability lobes. The objective is to find the most optimum cutting condition for a given tool geometry, workpiece material and machine tool without violating the physical constraints of the machine tool and dimensional accuracy of the workpiece.
BORING
Boring Module is simulation software for optimal of boring process. It predicts the forces in three directions, torque, power and stability lobes for single and mutliple-inserted boring heads. It also allows to design boring head with variable pitch.
Drilling
Drilling module allows simulation of cutting forces, torque, power, and tool deflections during hole making process.
Accepts dynamics parameters of the machine tool and workpiece manually by the user or in variety of formats (i.e. frf, uff, HP sdf, cmp files) created in CutPro or other commercial modal analysis software packages.
MODAL ANALYSIS
Modal Analysis Module is to extract the dynamic characteristics of a system from experimental transfer functions. The dynamic characteristics are the mode shapes and the modal parameters that are the natural frequencies, damping ratios, and modal masses associated with each of the mode shapes.
MALTF
MalTF is a versatile transfer function measurement program, which has been tested for National Instruments DAQ Card 6062E (a PCMCIA card used in notebook computers) and PCI MIO 16E 4 (a PCI card used in desktop computers).
MALDAQ
MalDAQ is a highly versatile PC-based data acquisition and analysis software. The program was developed and tested for the National Instruments DAQ Card 6062E, which are PCMCIA cards used in notebook computers. The software is also compatible with many analog data acquisition devices available from National Instruments.
SPINDLE PRO
SpindlePro is Finite Element based analysis program with a user friendly graphical interface. The user defines the dimensions of the spindle, bearing types, tool-pulley dimensions, bearing preloads and interface conditions to the machine tool column. SpindlePro calculates static deformations, undamped mode shapes, damped mode shapes with assigned modal damping ratios and Frequency Response Functions (FRF) at any desired location.
Virtual CNC
Virtual CNC system is a replica of a real time, modular and reconfigurable CNC but runs in a simulation mode. It predicts the actual positions delivered by the CNC, and plots the reference and predicted actual paths, the tolerance violation points along the tool path, cycle time by accurately calculating the feed fluctuations caused by acceleration/deceleration and control law, motor current, and position-displacement and acceleration of each drive.
